Jamie Allen was in the last lot of bombshells who entered the villa and barely got any time on the show.

Goodbye

While Jamie had only two weeks to be on the show, his team–Halifax Town– was still supportive of his decision to join the ITV2 dating show. The team posted on their official Twitter account that whether he’ll play for the club or not will be reviewed upon his arrival after the show.

The time of review and results have now been disclosed, confirms The Sun. A new statement on the club’s Twitter account read:

Jamie has not made any comments on the announcement and it’s still unsure if he’ll be joining another club. He could also give up his career in football altogether and pursue media opportunities, like some former Love Island contestants who gave up on their regular jobs.

Unhappy fans

When Jamie joined the show, his one true intention was to find love on the show. And he may have been able to do that with Danica Taylor. The two are apparently dating after the show and have made public appearances as well. However, many football fans were not happy with his decision to leave the club just weeks after signing a contract with Halifax Town. One wrote:

Hope it was worth it Jamie lad, a weeks worth on TV and another week of Interviews from Magazines and that will be your lot. Wonder if Guiseley need a player?
