Love Island’s Charlotte Sumner is one of the recently dumped stars of the show. While the bombshell only lasted less than a week she has answered a few important questions for us.

Charlotte Sumner and Andre Furtado left the villa in a shock dumping last week after a public vote put them in the bottom 3. The two stars appeared on Love IslandAftersun and shared how was their experience in the villa. Apart from Aftersun, Charlotte also did an Instagram Q&A where she answered many of the questions asked by her fans and 10.8K followers.

Charlotte revealed during her Q&A that life in the villa was ‘amazing yet intense’ because of many different personalities being there together. There were a lot of clashes, arguments and drama but she was still grateful to be in the villa. Amongst the many questions that Charlotte answered, she also clarified once and for all if the show was scripted. She said:

No, absolutely nothing is scripted. Everything is what you see is what you get. And I think there’s a lot of drama just because it’s so intense - such personalities. So yeah, absolutely nothing is scripted.

The 30-year-old dental nurse, who was also a secret dominatrix, confirmed that the Islanders are filmed 24 hours a day and added:

When we have food the girls and boys are separate. We are not allowed to discuss anything that happened or any like conflict or drama or anything like that. You just have to speak about like general things.

The bombshell who was coupled up with Zach also revealed that everything is more like a one-take shot in the villa. A fan asked her - ‘Do you get to practice recoupling speeches before?’ - to which she replied:

No, we have no practice, it’s straight in. My first recoupling as well - I just did not expect it like everyone was saying to me like “Did you know? Did you know?” like obviously not.

Charlotte found it very strange that the villa is away from time zones. Islanders never know what time of the day it is and there’s no way of knowing either. She found herself wondering ‘What time it is’ many times during the day. On that note, she revealed that while she doesn’t know how long recoupling and challenges take but they’re lengthier than what we see on TV. She said:

Because obviously, we have no idea what time it is, we don’t actually know exactly but they do take quite a while. Specially with like recoupling and things.

She added that by the end of recouplings, she would want a foot massage for standing in heels for so long.
