Love Island's Catherine Agbaje reveals an Islander got access to social media in the villa

Love Island series 10 has been one of the most drama-filled and eventful series in the history of ITV2’s dating reality show. Show bosses tried to shake things up in the villa every now and then with new and unexpected twists and turns this time.

However, it wasn’t only the show bosses who took things up a notch - even the Islanders this time have been smarter than ever. Here’s why!

Love Island contestant stole a phone and accessed social media in the villa

Series 10 star Catherine Agbaje revealed during the SHiiKANE podcast that an Islander stole a secret phone during the show and was able to contact the outside world. The incident was never shown on TV for obvious reasons.

The stolen phone incident happened after Mehdi and Mal were dumped from the villa. Catherine revealed:

What happened is basically Mal and Medhi left. When people leave the phones get swiped and they must have left their phones behind.

Whitney gave Medhi's straight to the producers in the morning whereas Mal's was in the dressing room.

Me and Whitney were discussing it and then producers asked us about it and we told them.

Islanders are kept off social media during their time in the villa so that they can’t see how they are being talked about by the viewers, confirmed OK! Magazine.

Love Island fans guess who the Islander could be

While Catherine revealed the stolen phone incident happened, she hasn’t revealed who it was. The ambiguity has left fans wondering who could’ve been smart enough to do something like this.

One fan said:

Molly and Mal were gone. Catherine is implying it wasn't her or Whitney. That leaves Leah, Jess, Kady, and Ella.

Another two added:

I honestly wouldn’t rule Kady out, she had only been in there a few days but I’m sure she’d be keen to see how her comeback had gone down and how her accidentally getting Molly dumped had been received.

I think it’s Jess or Kady. Leaning towards Kady bc Jess might have changed if she saw what people were saying about her & Sammy/Mal. Ella and Leah don’t seems as likely to me though, but I have no explanation as to why lol.
