Love Island: Luca’s ex Saffron Barker may head to the villa, here’s why

Luca Bish is currently coupled up with Michael Owen's daughter Gemma Owen, but fans think his ex-Saffron Barker might be heading into the villa to confront him. The social media sensation - who appeared in The Real Dirty Dancing and Strictly Come Dancing - hails from Brighton, where Luca was a fishmonger.

This comes after Saffron has teased her fans that she’s jetting off on a secret trip, The Sun reports. Many Love Island fans speculate that she is flying off to the iconic villa in Mallorca to surprise her ex-boyfriend Luca Bish. Luca has been staying loyal to Gemma even during the Casa Amor twist so much so that he refused to even sleep in another girl's bed.

He has remained steadfast ever since they started dating and so, fans have hypothesised that the Love Island bosses may be preparing to test him by including his most recent ex in the competition. However, Saffron addressed rumours on Instagram, claiming that people had gotten in touch with her directly to inquire about whether or not she had secretly signed up for the villa and shut down the speculations.

Casa Amor has been going on in full swing and wreaking havoc on most couples in the villa. Meanwhile, Luca and Gemma effortlessly continue to stay loyal to each other despite temptations. Amidst this former Love Island star, Kaz Kamwi spoke to RadioTimes.com and confirmed:

As it stands, the only couple who I think will survive Casa Amor is Gemma and Luca. I think they're going to survive.

I think part of me got worried at first as I thought he might be a bit too full-on with her, but I think she actually likes it and I just don't really see either of them swaying. Unless something crazy happens, then I'd be like 'Whoa!'

I'd be blindsided if they swayed. I think they're stronger than a lot of people give them credit for.
