Paris Hilton, the heiress of the Hilton family, made the 2000s the fun-filled party it was. The decade was her prime time, and she lived it up with her gang of best friends. And one of her BFFs was Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan.

But, like some of Hilton’s other friendships, this one didn’t seem to make it. The two stars had an alleged beef with each other, resulting in a broken friendship. Here’s what went down.

The ‘It’ girls of Hollywood seemed inseparable and often partied together. And the friendship seemed to be going strong, until Lohan was spotted with Hilton’s ex-boyfriend, Stavros Niarchos in 2006, as per Good Housekeeping. This rumored relationship triggered the beginning of the end of their friendship.

Following this, an incident occurred wherein Brandon Davis spoke down Lohan to the paparazzi, and Hilton stood by him and laughed, as per Elle. Soon, Davis made public apologies for his comments about Lohan and swept it under the rug.
The Freaky Friday actor later addressed the feud, and took a jab at Hilton for her infamous sex tape. The years that followed saw a bunch of name-calling from both Lohan’s and Hilton’s sides, which almost always quickly turned ugly.

After a long-standing feud of over decade, the former ‘It’ girls are said to have buried the hatchet. According to Vanity Fair, Hilton said the following:

Hilton seems like she’s willing to let bygones be bygones. However, there is no official statement from Lohan regarding their reconciliation. Lohan is set to make her comeback to acting with her new film Falling for Christmas,which will be released on Netflix on 10 November 2022.
