The individual is said to suffer from a mental disorder

Her lawyer, Kaia Gooding, explained that her client's actions stemmed rather from a 'passion for the environment' and not from any intention to harass actors. During the trial, a psychiatric report presented in court suggested that Veronica Grey was in fact suffering from a mental disorder. For their part, the two actors did not react to the case.

Despite the unusual nature of the case, Judge Deen Potter emphasized the negative impact of Veronica Grey's actions on postal operations and handed down a suspended sentence of two years, with a $3,000 good-conduct bond.
