Why were Lady Gaga’s dogs stolen?

It is not clear whether Lady Gaga’s dogs were targeted specifically because of her fame or whether they were targeted because French Bulldogs are expensive and highly sought-after. They are particularly difficult to breed and are usually sold for a little over $2,000 but can fetch up to $10,000.

FBI investigating Lady Gaga’s dogs theft

According to The Sun, the robbery is even being investigated by the FBI as one line of enquiry suggests that the theft may have been politically motivated after Lady Gaga sang at Joe Biden’s inauguration. A source apparently told the tabloid that ‘The FBI wants to know exactly what motivated this incident.’

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga, who is currently in Italy filming Gucci with director Ridley Scott, is said to be distraught at the theft of her beloved dogs. She has set up the email address KojiandGustav@gmail.com, imploring anyone with information about Koji and Gustav to come forward ‘no questions asked.’
