Katie Price's kids Junior and Princess could be on Love Island one day, but under one condition

Katie Price has two kids with her former husband Peter Andre - Junior,17 and Princess,15. Katie and Peter both share custody of the children despite having different parenting styles. After Gemma Owen - Michael Owen’s daughter - celeb kids are all more interested in doing Love Island.

Meanwhile, show bosses also realise their value and the kind of popularity they bring. They recently approached This Morning’s Alison Hammond’s son for the show.

Peter Andre’s initial denial of his kids being on Love Island

Amidst all the celeb kids making a beeline for ITV’s dating reality show, Peter Andre previously denied his children permission to ever appear on Love Island. In 2019, he strictly said a NO to Princess’ request of being on the show. Peter explained:

She [Princess] said to me, 'Would you ever let me go on Love Island?'

I said to her, 'When they start doing Love Island based on priests and nuns and they're having their sermons on Sundays you can go on Love Island but until then no chance'.

This comes as Peter is very protective of Princess - who is often called Katie’s doppelgänger. After Gemma Owen’s stint on the show, he even sent his ‘sympathy’ to football legend Michael Owen. He said:

I have to say I feel every inch of pain Michael Owen must be going through seeing his daughter Gemma on Love Island.

Explaining his statement, he added:

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great show but it’s not exactly ideal as a dad, is it?

Peter Andre’s ‘tricky’ permission for his kids to do Love Island

However, the two-timeI’m A Celeb star seems to have a change of heart now. According to The Sun, he has given his kids permission to be on the show. In a surprising twist of events, he has told his kids that he would be ‘okay’ to see them on the show if they presented the show rather than being a contestant.

He said:

I've sort of said to them I'd love you to try and present it rather than be a contestant, but then again, I've always said there's some great people who have come from the show.

Look at Molly Mae and Tommy - they've done so well, and they've stayed together.

So there is a lot of good things that come from it.
