Katie Price shares an update on her recovery from 'disabling' injury

The former glamour model shared an update about her foot injury. Katie Price injured her foot on a family vacation in Turkey in 2020 and she has been struggling with her foot ever since. The 44-year-old recently underwent another surgery for her feet.

Road to recovery

The mum-of-five took to her Instagram and shared a photo of an enormous scar on her foot. Updating her fans about her foot injury status, Katie announced she’s on the road to recovery. She wrote:

Stitches out, on the road to recovery before the next foot.

This comes after she went on a Ski Trip in Austria with her kids – Jett and Bunny – last month, and updated her followers that ‘skiing wasn’t great’ for her due to her feet. She then underwent the knife for one of her feet and now hopes to get better soon.

Disfiguring ailment

According to Mirror, the accident left Katie ‘waddling like a duck.’ She was only able to walk for about 20 minutes initially, but she has made long progress since then. She had an eight-hour operation after injury and still deals with chronic pain at times.

Katie also once revealed that the injury disfigured her in the way that one of her legs is longer than the other. She said:

I will never be the same... I've got a limp when I walk now as one leg is longer than the other because of all the metal in the foot — I waddle like a duck. It does make me feel a bit paranoid.

I'm registered disabled and have got letters from the doctors to certify me for a blue badge, which I've sent off for.
