Katie Price loses sixth pet as people sign petition against her buying more pets

The mum of five – Katie Price – has lost yet another pet due to carelessness. Reportedly, Katie’s dog Sharon was killed in a horrific car crash yesterday after 'escaping through an open gate' of her house.

Here’s what happened

The pet pooch – Sharon – can be seen in some of Katie’s photos on Instagram. After Sharon escaped through the door she was 'struck by a vehicle in West Sussex.' It was not until a mortified motorist decided to help the poor Pomeranian.

The motorist picked Sharon up after being struck off the A24 and took her to Arun Vets in Pulborough, West Sussex, claimed Mirror. It was there that Sharon was declared dead.

A source close to Katie said that it was ‘rotten luck’ that Sharon was hit by a car and Katie was ‘in bits’ following her death. However, Sharon’s death is the sixth known death of Katie’s pet and many more are alleged.

Series of deaths

Allegedly some puppies drowned in a ‘neglected swimming pool’ and a cat was ‘ripped’ apart by her dogs. Since 2017 there has been a litany of her pet deaths. It started when one of her horses perished after being struck by a motor.

A year later a delivery driver hit her Alsatian, Queenie and a second Alsatian, Sparkle, was hit by a car in 2020. Meanwhile, her Chameleon Marvin died of a ‘broken heart’ in the year when her kids, Princess and Junior, went to stay with her ex Peter Andre.

In 2020 one of her French Bulldogs Rolo also suffocated when the family nanny sat on it. And her Alsatian Bear was forced to be given away for attacking other animals.

Don’t buy more

Considering all the deaths and mishaps that have taken place with the 44-year-old glamour model’s pet, people have signed a petition on change.org to stop her from buying more pets. More than 25,000 people have signed the petition which claims that Katie’s pets are dying due to ‘lack of care.’

As such, the campaign organisers don’t want ‘animals to die.’ Katie currently owns chihuahuas Captain, Buddy, Colin and Batman, and guard dog Blade. She is thought to be ‘devastated’ by the petition against her owning animals.
