Katie Price ‘desperate’ to go on I’m A Celeb spin off series

The 43-year-old former glamour model took part in the show back in 2004 where she met her ex-husband Peter Andre during her original stint. She later appeared on the show in 2009, however, she quit early as she was voted in for every trial.

Is it time to go back?
When she appeared on the 2009 show, it is believed that she was given a fee of £350,000 to take part, but did not get paid as she walked off in the middle. The ITV bosses are now said to be planning on inviting back legendary campmates for a pre-recorded I’m A Celeb. After hearing the news, Katie had put a screenshot of The Sun’s article on her story and wrote:

The Sun reports that Katie has been on calls to get her back in the show as she really enjoyed the first time she took part in it. Katie’s team has been contacted for a comment. Meanwhile, an insider told the publication:

Katie previously disclosed that she would require continuous foot surgery after breaking her ankles during a trip to the Land of Legends theme park in Turkey in 2020 when she went from a wall.

The new I'm A Celebrity spin-off will air in addition to the annual series and is expected to premiere next year. With 230 celebrities competing throughout 20 seasons, the TV bosses are giving the viewers three shows in two years.
