However, Gillian never really liked or enjoyed being in the jungle and still went in for the All-Stars series a second time. Here’s why she did the show a second time.

According to OK! Magazine the star didn’t know the show when she went into the jungle for the first time. She explained that in 2010 she did the show thinking it would be ‘an experience’ and will put her out of her ‘comfort zone.’
The star was in ‘complete shock’ as she hadn’t seen a single episode of the ITV jungle show and thought they would be sent back to a hotel at night after doing trials in the jungle. However, the jungle was rougher than she expected.

Gillian McKeith and her time on the show
The star evidently had a feud with Shaun Ryder - that got resolved this time - but she revealed she was ‘OK’ with most people. The 63-year-old TV nutritionist also talked about how her phobias have gotten worse after the show. She admitted that being on the show didn’t help her with her phobias and said:
I am worse than ever. I left terrorised and it hasn’t gone away. I have lots of insect phobias, but spiders are the worst. I don’t want to get close up to spiders.More under this adMore under this ad
Gillian also briefly appeared on Big Brother in 2016 to ‘detox,’ but has confessed she wouldn’t do it again despite good money because she likes to be in control.
