Leaving the show which she had been hosting since 2009 this way was a very dramatic end to what could be described as a chaotic year. It all started back in September 2022 when Willoughby and her then co-host Phillip Schofield were seen cutting the queue to salute the Queen’s coffin at Westminster Abbey.

This led to Schofield leaving This Morning at the end of May 2023 and since then Willoughby had been continually on and off the show leaving viewers frustrated.
But now, the star could be coming back to our screens thanks to streaming giant Netflix.
Holly Willoughby ‘approached’ to present this new show

Holly WIlloughby is keeping a low profile
Since she announced her exit from The Morning via Instagram on 10 October 2023, Willoughby hasn’t made any appearances or statements. However, it was recently confirmed that she would be resuming her hosting gig on Dancing on Ice alongside Stephen Mulhern.
Dancing on Ice will start Sunday 14 January on ITV. Willoughby has chosen to keep mute about her upcoming return to TV screen but her co-host, Mulhern, hasn’t. In an Instagram post on 11 January he shared a video of the show he used to host with Holly Willoughby between 2004 and 2006, Ministry of Mayhem. In the caption he wrote:

Though expectations are high for Willoughby’s TV return it seems like until the very end, she is refusing to be seen. On 11 January, Daily Mail revealed that she had missed the ‘Dancing On Ice photoshoot’. However, they do specify that the host is very much at work and that the only reason she didn’t attend the photoshoot was to focus on rehearsals.
