Harry Styles: Viral video shows him 'spitting' on Chris Pine in public, here's what we know

No matter how famous or hot you are, there’s no way you spit Chris Pine on his lap and the internet would spare you.

Yes, in a viral video, that has been watched over 14 million times on Twitter, an indifferent Harry Styles can be seen spitting, or doing something of that sort, on his Don’t Worry Darling co-star Chris Pine’s lap while taking a seat next to him as a Olivia Wilde watched on from the other side of where Chris was sitting.

In the footage, based on what fans have speculated online, Harry Styles could be seen dropping a little bubble of spit on Chris Pine’s lap at the Venice Film Festival where their movie premiered on Monday.

Chris Pine, on the other hand, first looked up and smiled graciously and then laughed and nodded his head in disbelief.

Fans on Twitter, however, haven’t taken kindly to what felt like an attack by the former One Direction member.

‘I can’t look away pls help,’ one Twitter user commented that has now gone viral, with another saying that they cannot sleep until the mystery is solved, adding:

‘won’t sleep until [they] know the truth’

But some believe that a star of Styles’ stature wouldn’t do something this petty at a public event.

To all the outraged fans out there, another fan jokingly asked:

'and chris made no movement to wipe it off and just sat there smiling and laughing? be f–king serious.'

A Twitter user has his own theory: Chris Pine was most probably zoned out (again) and thinking about his sunglasses.

‘Chris pine just wondered where his sunglasses were after the applause. And he zoned out (likes he’s been doing all day) and realised [sic] it’s in his lap. So I am sorry to say harry styles did not spit on him,’explained the Twitter user.

In other news, Chris Pine did make headlines during the premiere of Don’t Worry Darling, when he had zoned out while Harry Styles answered questions at the film’s press conference. Additionally, him taking snaps of Florence Pugh’s in the middle of the red carpet event, with a Polaroid camera, made news worldwide.

To add to the mix are the past controversies, which you all are already aware of, and makes us wonder what exactly is happening with the movie? The cast and crew has not come forward or refuted any of the rumours except for Olivia Wilde dismissing rumors of her sharing bad blood with Pugh, as reported by TMZ.
