Indeed, she revealed that during a health scan, doctors found a benign brain tumour. She said:
'I did a menopause talk for a company, and they offered me a health scan in return, which I thought I was going to ace, but it turned out I had a benign brain tumour called a colloid cyst, which is very rare, three in a million.'
On the same day her announcement was posted, she went in for surgery to get the 14cm-wide tumour removed. Following the operation, her partner Micheal Douglas shared that the it went well and that she was recovering. He said:
‘She’s currently recovering in ICU as a precaution, as you can imagine she’s utterly exhausted.’
