Donald Trump makes wild claims concerning Kamala Harris’ health as her medical report is published

With only a few weeks until voting for the 2024 presidential elections (November 5), Donald Trump has upped his attacks against his opponent, Kamala Harris. It is customary for presidential candidates to take full medical exams to make sure they are in good health to run a country, and those results are published for the public to see.

Former President Donald Trump has been urging Harris to publish her medical exam as he often claims something is wrong with her. The Vice President obliged, however, Trump has made some wild remarks concerning her results, despite her doctor saying she is in ‘excellent health’.

This comes after increasing demands for Trump to release his own medical exam, which he claims he has already published:

I have already provided them, many times, including quite recently, and they were flawless.

Donald Trump claims Kamala Harris suffers from ‘deeply serious conditions’

As reported by HuffPost, Donald Trump shared on his social media platform, Truth Social, that Kamala Harris suffers from ‘deeply serious conditions’ after her medical exam was published.

In his post, he explained that he has seen his opponent's results and they are ‘not good’ as she suffers from ‘urticaria’ (hives), ‘allergic rhinitis’ (hay fever) and ‘allergic conjunctivitis’ (irritated eyes), which according to Trump is ‘a very messy and dangerous situation’.

According to her Doctor’s Report, she suffers from ‘urticaria,’ defined as ‘a rash of round, red welts on the skin that itch intensely, sometimes with dangerous swelling.’ She also has ‘allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis,’ a very messy and dangerous situation.

The former President goes on to add that these are ‘deeply serious conditions that clearly impact her functioning’.

Moreover, as per HuffPost, Trump has challenged Harris to take a cognitive test, despite him being the one people are concerned about.

Despite Trump’s claims, Kamala Harris’ doctor assures that she is in ‘excellent health’.

A summary of Kamala Harris’ medical report

As per Daily Mail, Kamala Harris’ medical exam was performed by Dr Joshua Simmons, the vice president’s primary care physician. In the report, he indeed lists Harris’ seasonal allergies but also notes she has never had a severe reaction.

The report shows that Harris has been undergoing allergen immunotherapy for the last three years, which has ‘dramatically improved’ her symptoms, to the point she no longer requires medication to manage it, apart from ‘occasional nasal Atrovent for rhinitis’.

Harris’ medical report reveals that she has ‘mild myopia’ (nearsightedness) and she wears contact lenses but she can still ‘read comfortably’ without her glasses or contacts. Dr Joshua Simmons also explains that Kamala’s family has a history of colon cancer but she is being monitored for early signs.

Moreover, as per her doctor, Kamala is showing no signs of diabetes, heart or lung disease, neurological disorders or osteoporosis, which are all common ailments for ageing people. The vice president also has normal cholesterol and blood pressure, heart rate, vitamin levels and blood sugar for someone of her age (59 years old).

Finally, the report reveals that Harris takes steps to ensure she stays healthy including taking vitamin D3 supplements and doing ‘vigorous daily aerobic exercise and core strength training’.
