Gino D’Acampo’s exact words

As per Birmingham Live, the Italian chef said:

I come from a generation where I used to see my dad in the evening Monday to Saturday, when we had dinner at the table, for about half an hour. And then I used to see him on Sunday.

He also said that working moms and dads are suffering on the inside due to the lack of spending time with their children. And it’s mostly not because they want to be with them, but they feel like they ought to be with them.

According to NY Breaking, D'Acampo said 'I blame David Beckham'. He then admitted:

Not literally because before David Beckham, dads, they used to go to work and they used to see the kids in the evening. Then he [David] came around, or people like him, and we started to have social media.
