Danny Dyer’s Cheat axed by Netflix after the first series
The former EastEnders actor hosted Cheat with Ted Lasso actress Ellie Taylor after quitting the soap last year. The first series aired in March and was expected to continue further, however, it is understood that Netflix has axed the show.

Hinting at the possible reason behind the axe, the source added:
It didn’t pick up a big following and will hardly go down in game show folklore. He enjoyed making the series, especially banking the pay cheque.
Cheat was a new quiz show that rewards both brains and blaggers. Contestants attempted to win £50,000 by cheating their way through the game and tried to avoid getting caught out by rival players.

Danny is now waiting to hear if his E4 travel series he co-hosts with daughter Dani will be recommissioned.
He has also been a host of other game shows like BBC’sThe Wall and MTV's True Love or True Lies.
After quitting EastEnders, Danny also entered the world of drama with Channel 5 thriller Heat. He revealed that after EastEnders he was scared of not getting any work, but things have worked out for him to some extent. Danny told RadioTimes:
