The famously close brothers, who also have tattoos dedicated to each other, have previously shared many sweet tributes for each other. However, they are now reportedly locked in an icy standoff.

Months after the split, he went Instagram official with his glamorous new girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, a DJ and model who is no stranger to celebrity circles herself. Romeo and Brooklyn Beckham feuding because of his girlfriend

TMZ broke the news that a significant rift has opened between Brooklyn Beckham and his younger brother Romeo, who turned 22 last year, with the source of tension being Romeo’s new girlfriend, Kim Turnbull. According to insiders connected to the Beckham family, Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham have reservations regarding Kim’s true motives in dating Romeo.

These rumours have been further fueled by Brooklyn and Nicola's absence from David Beckham’s recent lavish 50th birthday celebration—an event where Romeo was seen with Kim.

Romeo posted an Instagram photo from the event captioned, ‘Family is everything,’ yet did not tag Brooklyn or Nicola, prompting speculation among fans. Victoria Beckham shared pictures of the event, allegedly shading her oldest son as she wrote 'Creating special memories with family and friends' although Brooklyn and his wife were missing from the family celebration despite being in England at the time. The former model usually acknowledges her eldest if he is missing from important events, writing 'missing you' in the caption and tagging Brooklyn.

According to a recent report by TMZ, Brooklyn and Nicola flew to London for the sole purpose of seeing David Beckham and celebrating his 50th birthday. They reportedly asked Brooklyn's father to meet ahead of the big party, to have a quiet family hang-out. However, the invitation did not go down well with other family members.

Indeed, TMZ reports the couple was told to show up at the event, or they would not see David Beckham at all. Although they did not attend his star-studded birthday party, the couple reportedly wished David Beckham a happy birthday privately, as they prefer to deal with family matters privately. The couple also failed to post anything about the former athlete's birthday on social media, unlike the rest of the family.

David and Victoria Beckham left 'utterly heartbroken'

This is not the first time also noticed Brooklyn and Nicola’s absence from several recent Beckham family events. E! News highlights their no-show at Victoria Beckham’s Paris Fashion Week show and David's star-studded underwear campaign launch in January.

A source told TheSun that David and Victoria Beckham were 'utterly heartbroken' by their son's behaviour, which they reportedly blame on his wife. The source explained:

They’ll always be there for him, but since he’s got together with Nicola - who is very headstrong - this has become quite a toxic pattern of behaviour and at some point you have to say, 'Enough is enough’.

TMZ has also suggested that Brooklyn and Nicola Beckham will not appear at any public family events attended by Kim, highlighting just how strained the situation has become. Despite Brooklyn's clear reservations, David and Victoria reportedly trust Kim, welcoming her presence around Romeo.

It was rumoured that Kim and Brooklyn had a romance of their own, and this only added to the speculation of a rift. However, Cruz recently debunked the fake news saying:

Who is Kim Turnbull?

Kim Turnbull, 23, is a London-based DJ and model. As per Daily Mail, Kim is an accomplished DJ known for blending hip-hop, Afrobeat, amapiano, and electronic music. Her career took off during the pandemic when Kim realised she could make money from her passion. She has played at notable venues like Fabric and KOKO and has appeared at festivals across multiple continents.

Kim’s modelling portfolio is equally impressive. She’s collaborated with luxury brands like Fendi, Tommy Hilfiger, and Marc Jacobs, and fronted campaigns for household names such as Rimmel London.

She also comes from a family of artists; her grandfather, William Turnbull, was a renowned post-war sculptor whose works are exhibited at prominent institutions including London's Tate Gallery. Her father and uncle were members of the influential post-punk band 23 Skidoo.

Before Romeo, Kim briefly dated another nepo kid—Rocco Ritchie, son of Madonna and director Guy Ritchie, back in 2016.
