According to MailOnline, Alison’s niece Jasmine,23, underwent a life-saving heart transplant 12 years ago after being diagnosed with Kawasaki disease aged three. Alison revealed on This Morning:

Kawasaki or mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome disease is a condition that mainly affects children under the age of five. Under this condition ‘the blood vessels become inflamed and swollen, which can lead to complications in the blood vessels that supply blood to the heart (coronary arteries).’ Alison added:

What is the Junior doctors strike all about?
The industrial action will result in up to 47,600 medics refusing to deliver any medical care, including in A&E and cancer wards. This comes as NHS waiting lists currently stand at a record high of 7.4 million.
