The English singer-songwriter recently disclosed she’s in therapy again after going a few years without it as she ‘needed it.’

The Easy on Mesinger is currently in the middle of her Weekends with Adele concert series in Vegas which launched last month. The tour comes after a delay of 10 months due to production issues and would run until March.

Adele’s friendly confession

The 34-year-old singer has been open about her struggles with performing live and stage fright, but what’s new is that she’s in therapy once again after years. The Hello singer told her audience at her Vegas show that she has been going to therapy again after quitting it in 2019.

Adele said:

I started having therapy again because I went a few years without. I needed to start.

Before, obviously, when I was going through my divorce, I was basically having five therapy sessions a day.

But I stopped holding myself accountable for my own behaviour and the things I would say.
But now I am doing it because I just want to make sure I’m topping myself up every week to make sure I can give you everything.

Stage fright is real

The Grammy award winner who loves to make music explained that her reason to get back to therapy had a lot to do with her live tour, reported Metro.co.uk. almost tearfully she added:

And my whole therapy session this week was really interesting. It was about these shows. I always get so emotional. I love making music, but there is something about performing live that actually terrifies me and fills me with dread.

That is why I am not a big touring artist. I did it last time to prove I could do it. But this experience of being in a room this size, I think I might be a live artist for the rest of my life.
